Hey all you lovely Rams ladies!!
I have been the coach of the North Surrey Atom cheerleaders for 3 years now and sadly neither myself, nor my other coach are able to continue with our team
So if any of you have any interest in coaching an AMAZING group of 6-8 year olds (when I say amazing I mean smart, beautiful, generous, talented little girls who will change your life) please let me know! Season runs from early July to the end of November-ish. Practices are Tuesday and Thursdays from 6-7:30 and games are Sunday mornings!
This is an amazing experience and you will fall madly in love with these kids!!
If you are interested you can contact me on Facebook or email me at edb2@sfu.ca
Thanks ladies! GO RAMS!!!

I love you guys! I think your all amazing athletes. Your stunting is incredible and I can't wait to try out for your team when I get my life sorted out here. Keep on doing what your doing! I love the post that says your a 'big family' its what the Rebels should try to acquire but somehow seem to fail every year. I think it has to do with the negativity on that team... Well anyways I just wanted to say good luck this year and I cant wait to see you guys perform! Laura and Megan are awesome cheerleaders they will be a joy to have!

Dear Wondering...
Just so that you\'re better informed, Rams has previously been blessed to have cheerleaders from various different backgrounds such as community cheer, university, CFL, all-star and other CJFL programs, such as the Okanagan Sun. The Rams cheerleading team has even played a key role in getting other programs started, by putting on volunteer camps, etc. Every individual on Rams contributes something different to the team, and we\'ve always prided ourselves on taking everything that people have to offer and making it into our own unique style.
I\'m confused as to why someone who has moved from Victoria to Vancouver (for whatever reason) should have to give up their love of cheerleading? Should we stop taking girls who\'ve previously cheered at the high school level and are now simply too old? If I were to love playing soccer and then move to Toronto for school should I be forced give that up as well?!
It\'s quite evident in your childish and immature posting that you\'ve never cheered and are in no way associated with the Victoria Rebels, who have always been a supportive and classy program, and love to see the growth of the sport of cheerleading. Had you ever been part of a team, you\'d know that when one of your members moves on you want the best for them and to watch them succeed, wherever they choose to use their talents.
I sincerely hope that one day, you are as blessed as I have been, and get to be a part of an amazing family such as the Rams cheerleading team. Perhaps a nurturing experience such as this would help you to expand your narrow minded and negative views.
